General Instructions

When you arrive at Breakout KC Escape Room, your group will be introduced to the room’s storyline and objectives. Once inside, explore your surroundings thoroughly. Use logic, observation, and collaboration to uncover clues and solve puzzles that guide you through the experience and toward a successful escape.

  • Arrive Early

    Reach 15–20 minutes before your scheduled time for check-in, briefing, and preparation.

  • Work as a Team

    Escape rooms are all about teamwork. Share clues, talk openly, and collaborate to solve puzzles.

  • Avoid Using Force

    Don’t push, pull, or break props. Everything you need is accessible without brute force.

  • Don’t Give Up Easily

    Sometimes, the hardest puzzles are the most rewarding. If you get stuck, it’s okay to take a step back and revisit with fresh eyes.

  • Respect Other Players

    If you're playing in a public escape room and there are other teams, be mindful of their space. Don't disturb their gameplay by speaking loudly or interfering.
